- Our History
In 2021, Gus Laredo and Daniel Gumucio conceived the idea for LigaX during a lunch meeting in their native Bolivia. As they discussed the soccer landscape across youth, college, and professional levels, they realized a significant gap: global soccer data was either fragmented or nonexistent.
This lack of comprehensive data affected players of all ages, clubs, coaches, and other stakeholders within the soccer ecosystem. Recognizing this opportunity, Gus and Daniel decided to embark on a new venture, which led to the creation of LigaX.
Throughout 2021 and 2022, they focused on developing the technology in Bolivia. In 2022, LigaX was officially incorporated in the United States, while continuing to maintain its R&D offices in Bolivia.
Gus and Daniel are also passionate advocates for the development of global soccer. They have been actively involved in giving back to youth soccer clubs and organizations, providing support and resources to nurture young talent. Additionally, they have expanded their commitment to the sport by investing in professional clubs across Europe and South America as well as semi-professional soccer in the USA, leveraging their expertise in technology and soccer to help these clubs grow and succeed. Their dedication to both grassroots and professional soccer reflects their deep love for the game and their desire to contribute to its global development.
Following a similar roadmap Gus and Daniel co-founded a technology company in Bolivia in 2012, which was later incorporated in the USA. Under their leadership, the company quickly gained traction and attracted attention for its innovative solutions. This success culminated in the company being acquired by a publicly traded firm on NASDAQ. Their collective experience and knowledge they gained from this venture have been instrumental in shaping their vision and strategy for LigaX.

Gustavo Laredo
CEO, LigaX INC.
Gus Laredo is the Managing Partner and Chairman of Condor Equity Partners, a private capital firm specializing in enterprise and consumer software, business services, sports franchises, commercial and sports-anchored real estate, franchising sector, healthcare tech and special situations. With over two decades of leadership and operational experience, Gus has built a reputation for developing high-growth enterprises and high-performance teams.
In addition to his role at Condor, Gus serves as the President and Chairman of Trueforce Global Services, Inc., a premier global IT services company. He is also the Chairman of Associação Desportiva Ovarense (AD Ovarense), a professional soccer club located in Ovar, Portugal as well as a member of the Board of Directors of LigaX, Inc., a next generation AI/ML global sports data platform.
Gus's career includes co-founding Whendu, an analytics and workflow automation company acquired by Five9, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVN). He also co-founded and led Sierra360 as CEO, an enterprise mobile engagement platform that was acquired by inContact/NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE). Furthermore, Gus was a co-founder and Vice President/COO of Five9, a pioneer in cloud contact center technology that successfully went public on NASDAQ.
Gus's strategic vision and unwavering commitment to excellence have driven the growth and success of multiple ventures, making him a respected leader in the technology and business communities. His leadership at Condor Equity Partners ensures a continued focus on creating value and fostering innovation across the firm’s diverse portfolio. Gus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco.
Daniel Gumucio

Daniel Gumucio, the founder and CEO of AssureSoft, is an entrepreneur and investor who has steered a premier nearshore software development company based in the United States with development centers throughout Latin America. With over 20 years of experience, he has leveraged nearshore outsourcing to transform businesses, guiding AssureSoft to become a key player in software excellence.
Under Daniel’s leadership, AssureSoft has embraced a client-centric approach, focusing on agile methodologies to deliver flexible, rapid, and superior software development solutions. The company’s specialization in nearshore outsourcing for software development is a testament to its commitment to meeting client needs. They offer a wide range of services, including full-stack development, mobile app creation, DevOps, database management, and quality assurance.
One of Daniel’s core achievements has been cultivating long-standing client relationships built on trust, transparency, and shared goals. This approach has fostered lasting partnerships, some of which have spanned over a decade.
